SEA:ME provides you job-focused practical training in the shortest amount of time possible – in just 6-12 months of working on learning projects in student teams. By solving the challenges of these projects. By organizing your own team work. By learning how to use an agile workflow that is used in real-life software developer teams at mobility companies. And by testing your code on hardware in a lab environment – then improving and testing again until you succeed.

You learn in a structured system, with support of academic staff and expert contributors (“fellows”). Without sitting in lectures, writing papers, or having theoretical discussions like in university. You design and test your own solutions to the learning challenges – and you share them with other student teams and learn from their solutions. Students in SEA:ME maximize their learning outcomes by practical work on real-life challenges, and by constant feedback from other students, staff, and industry experts.

By studying in SEA:ME, you become qualified for first jobs and internships in mobility software development. And you get into these by being more attractive to employers than other applicants. Because you have the practical skills. You have the team work skills. You have the experience in the agile work format that employers use in their developer teams. And you have the specialized skills and the understanding of foundational concepts of coding for mobility. I.e. “domain-specific” knowledge that regular software developers lack – and work skills that university students in mobility IT lack.

Apply to SEA:ME with the form below if you have existing coding skills and / or related engineering skills (automotive / mobility / electrical engineering / etc.). And get our feedback on joining SEA:ME.
